If you want to rent a house in Amsterdam, we can help you with that. Since 2004 Amsterdam Real Estate has been the specialist in (temporary) renting, letting and managing homes. We offer various services for prospective tenants and we can relieve you of many worries. Amsterdam Real Estate will be happy to help you find the right home. We focus on relationships instead of transactions, we want to offer our clients a personal service of unsurpassed professional level.

Property rental offer

With us you have an extensive choice from a diverse range of houses in and around Amsterdam. All properties can be rented at short notice and usually directly. Waiting lists are almost non-existent at Amsterdam Real Estate. The houses can be rented temporarily, but can also often be rented for a longer period of time.

Our service includes the following services:

If you have seen a beautiful house we plan a viewing for you. We will give you expert advice about the property on the spot. If you would like to rent the property, we will take care of the layout of the rental agreement. It is important that the house is properly inspected, so we always provide a pre- and post-inspection.

Of course we hope you enjoy living in it. But if there are unexpected things that need to be repaired, you can report this to us. You can always contact us for other breakdowns and home maintenance as well. We will then look into the question of who the house maintenance is for. Some costs are for the tenant and some for the landlord.

We arrange that you can rent your house as carefree as possible!

What documents do I need to rent a property in Amsterdam?

In order to be able to view a property and eventually rent it, it is important that all the papers below are in order beforehand. Unfortunately we cannot mediate without these documents. These documents are necessary for all accompanying adults:

  • The most recent monthly salary or income statement
  • Copy of valid proof of identity
  • Landlord declaration
  • Pay slip and/or employment contract
  • In the case of a temporary contract an employer's declaration
  • If you are a student, the details (ID, bank statement and pay slip) of a guarantor must be provided.
The information provided by you will of course be treated confidentially. Amsterdam Real Estate will check the documents for correctness and authenticity. We can also check whether you have been in contact with the judicial authorities, bailiffs or collection agencies.

The signing of the general terms and conditions does not entitle you to assignment of any property.
